To kick off bathroom and kitchen month, here's a peek into some of the most un-bathroomy bathrooms we've seen. British stylist, Twig Hutchinson, is particularly adept at taking the cold, sterile vibe out of the bathroom and replacing it with clean, romantically rough-edged luxury.
You may not be bathing al fresco or fireside anytime soon, but you can adopt Hutchinson's way of incorporating everyday furniture pieces into the bathroom for a more relaxed and luxurious space. One of the quickest and most effortless ways to personalize a bath is to replace the standard issue vanity mirror with a beautifully framed one that you've been reserving for another room in the house. Similarly, you can transform side tables and bureaus into vanity consoles to replace the rickety MDF box that's chaining your bathroom to perpetual mediocrity.

Where can you get a bathtub like the one in photo 1 and in photo 3? So beautiful!

Farm supply store for starters. They always carry things "like" this. Ask for their supplier cat.

LAtoNY, I've seen affordable porcelain versions at salvage yards. It's possible they would have metal versions, too.

The first image looks very much like where I grew up (Caribbean). Beautiful.

The last one is so beautiful it makes me want to cry.

The last one has a radio by the tub... did the lady wear the dress to a party, get dumped, rip the dress off and is now prepping for electrocution in the tub???

Beautiful photos. I especially love the second - gorgeous floors. And I think a radio by the tub is fine as long as it's not in danger of falling IN the tub...
