For the more offbeat, we particularly enjoyed perusing "Architecture by Birds and Insects" and "Ductigami: The Art of the Tape."

Of course most of these books are surely available online, but nothing beats flipping through a book in your hand before you decide to purchase it. You could easily spend hours just browsing. We certainly did.
