Eco-Traveler Luggage

EcoTravelerLuggage.jpg

It seems like every time we travel these days, another piece of luggage bites the dust. As we are now able to easily identify our suitcases by the pattern of the duct tape holding them together, we've been on the lookout for an affordable replacement- this eco-friendly luggage from Eco-Traveler might be just what we've been looking for...

The Eco-Traveler luggage is the perfect choice for anyone looking for an eco-friendly luggage option. The cases are constructed of durable 100 natural hemp canvas with environmental friendly PVC-free foam for extra durability, as well as PVC-free interior backing and biodegradable cotton webbing and interior lining. At only $50 for the two piece set pictured above, the Eco-Traveler luggage is also surprisingly affordable.

If it really is durable, $50 is a great price. If you're not set on eco-friendly luggage, a great place is Marshalls/TJ Maxx/Ross. I got a set of DVF luggage for about 75% off the original price.

Is anyone else kind of over roller bags? They were awesome twenty years ago when I first saw them and it seemed like only airline staff had them... but now I'd rather just carry my bag and have back the precious room in my carry on wasted on wheels and retractable handles, so I can pack actual stuff in it.

If it's not built to last, all the eco-friendy materials are for naught.

Just bite the bullet and get quality luggage like Tumi or Hartmann - It's bullet-proof, has easily replaceable hardware and will last you forever, and you can get discontinued colors/styles for up to half-price on eBay.

"Is anyone else kind of over roller bags?"

Not at all.

When I used luggage w/ out wheels, it was a back-breaking chore - I even fell down an escalator in Penn Station due to the weight of the luggage on my bad knee (and no Red-Caps to be found...)

Now nearly everything is on wheels, so if I am traveling for more than a couple weeks, I can strap 2-3 bags together and pull the rolling luggage through the airport or ship terminal like an 18-wheeler caravan.
