(In an effort to help apartment owners who are looking to sell without a broker and to show off cool FSBO apartments to readers looking for them, we are posting good ones that we stumble upon. Readers are welcome to submit as well. Follow the instructions in this post.)
What?? this shouldnt be on the main blog, thats why AT has a classifieds..... has nothing to do with design and to be honest it takes away from my daily experince of READING about DESIGN, not sifting through home classifieds

I was just thinking the same thing. It adds to the clutter on AT. If this place is posted for sale why aren't others or will there be others posted. This detracts from everything else. It seems like there is so much posted lately. Like there seems to be a feeling to post as much as one can. Quality of posts people, not quantity!

Ugh. I looked at places around the SW waterfront recently. It will suck to live there for the first 3 or 4 years (CVS in a trailer! Giant holes in the ground! A complete lack of anything to do past 8pm!), but after that it should be a great place to live.

Yeah, get it to the classifieds. I'm happy to see FSBOs that are house tour worthy, but this place is just OK, not inspirational.

Generic.

Right. The point is to imagine how it can be inspirational. All homes staged for selling are generic. It would be a surprise if it wasn't.

AT readers can be harsh

I don't know why all the negativity. FSBO postings have been on AT for a couple of years. They are not supposed to be "aspirational" nor necessarily examples of good design. They are available to enhance AT's community - by letting AT'ers get an early jump on apartments that are For Sale By Owner (i.e. a much better deal than through a broker and very, very rare in NYC).
Personally, I feel like the DC posts in general don't belong on the NYC site as they are generally very irrelevant to us, but that's my own thang to get over.
