baker_logo.jpgBaker Furniture has served the DC community for over 100 years. Thanks to the recent House Tour: Scott's Airy Simplicity, we were reminded of Baker's timeless appeal. The store is known for its traditional pieces, but Baker also carries different, non-traditional lines like the Jacques Garcia Collection and Tony Duquette designs. Click through for a tour of the store's huge retail space in Cady's Alley, Georgetown.

The store carries everything for the home — furniture, accessories, lighting, rugs, tableware, and more. Prices are high, but so are the quality and service. Have you shopped at Baker Furniture?

Right now, my means are limited to vintage Baker - but that's not to say that I wouldn't consider them for new items when I move to a larger space, especially their moderately-priced Baker Studio line.
