Modern Eco-Friendly Bedding from Amenity

AmenityBedding.jpg

We've been on the hunt for new bedding, and fell in love with the organic option we found at Amenity. The modern prints and soothing colors would certainly help jumpstart our spring fever despite the recent cold spell...

Each limited-edition, large-scale image is printed individually onto skal-certified, 300 thread count cotton that's been organically grown and organically processed. The blooms are printed with non-toxic, water-based, eco-friendly dyes; the bedding is printed and sewn in Los Angeles CA.

At $330 for the duvet, this is certainly a splurge purchase for anyone in the market for new bedding. That said, if you are in the market for some luxury bedding, Amenity has some beautiful modern and eco-friendly options.

All three designs are really pretty. Hopefully Target will come out with a normal priced knock off sometime soon for me!

Oh, these are nice. Pleasure in simple things, sometimes. I just finished building a bed that's in need of some textile finishing. Thanks for the tip!

I love them, but unfortunately the year long unemployment, recession, 2 moves, wedding, going back to college thing has basically caused me to knock one digit off of any potential purchase.

When this gets down to $99, then remind me ;)

I have the Cove in cream and moss. It looks absolutely wonderful here in my new apartment, and worked just as well in my old one. The only caveat is washing -- it uses organic inks so there are some very specific care instructions that come with it, though nothing terribly unreasonable.

Here it is in my current bedroom (Flickr)

Target had a knock off of the green one pretty recently. I cant find it on their website now but their dwell studio line has a few of the same ideas. check it out:

I'm looking for a modern duvet cover as well, but I can't spend $330 on it.

I've already checked Target, Macys, Linens n' things, Crate and Barrel (my last one came from here--love it!), CB2, West Elm...any other suggestions?
