Zilka Hanger by Ryan Frank

As we transition from our winter to summer wardrobe, we've been assessing our closet as a whole with an eye to reducing and reorganizing. While looking for alternatives to those ubiquitous white plastic hangers, we fell in love with these gorgeous hangers by Ryan Frank...

Made from recycled newspapers and completely bio-degradable, these Zilka hangers are attractive and eco-friendly. Unfortunately, we haven't been able to find a U.S. retailer, and at 10EUR per hanger, these are definitely not a budget-friendly option even for our friends across the pond. We would love for this product to inspire the designers responsible for the Ditto hanger — if those came in colors or patterns for home use, we would be sold!

Hangers don't excite me. Its what's on them that does!

It's about time someone came up with a new hanger design. It would actually be fun to buy wood ones and paint individual designs on them. Or perhaps a big time waster. lol!
