Rhoda's Southern Hospitality
House Call

Name: Rhoda of Southern Hospitality
Location: Birmingham, Alabama

Being from the South, I'm mostly a traditional decorator, but love to add some fun and sass into the mix whenever I can. I'm also a yardsale and thriftstore hound and have found some great things by re-purposing, re-painting, and generally rehabbing my found items to work in my house. And that makes for a nice eclectic mix, which is much more interesting than just going to the store and buying things new.

Name: Julie and Nate
Location: Potomac Falls, Virginia
Size: 2,000 square feet

Like good Mid-Atlantic residents, Julie and Nate appreciate antiques and a décor reminiscent of our country's early days. What they don't appreciate, however, is a fussy, stuffy interior. As a native Washingtonian in love with the distinct characters of DC's neighborhoods, I have been especially excited for the unveiling of the Washington Design Center's Fall Design House.
