Stuff like this in moderation is a-okay. I especially like novelty items in some scarcity so that they're actually funny and a little surreal.

This is not "Not Hot" because it's kitschy; it's "Not Hot" because soldiers holding what I can only determine to be machetes makes me think of horrific things that need not be part of a balanced breakfast...

I think it's cute. If a person doesn't really want to look at it put it away or don't buy it. I think it would bring out the kid in you.
