Hot or Not? Exterior Halloween Decorations

Halloween Spiders 1.jpg

Frankly, we love it. Halloween decorations like this can really bring out the kid in you...

This house is always a stop on our walks in October – just to see if they have added anything else or changed it from the year before.

What do you think - Too much?

Normally I would say HOT, but having a deep rooted fear of huge spiders, I must say NOT.

Hot in theory. Scary for the arachnaphobes like me.

I think if they are done well, then they are awesome, but if they half-assed it then they can really suck.

The execution is well done but, me and spiders have never been friends. Especially that striped one!

It's great, but I know plenty of arachnophobes who would disagree. I admire the homeowners' commitment to the holiday.

I like it. It would be really great if the spiders were more organized, sort of marching off the roof like an invading army. I love these over the top decorations and one thing I hate about my coop is that we are only allowed to put them outside the door on the 31st and must take them down by noon on the 1st.

This is fantastic! I love people who get into the spirit of things, just to add a little color and life to the neighborhood and for other folks to enjoy. Art for art's sake! Thanks for sharing!

It looks like they did an ok job of it. Hard to tell. I like when decorations are really scary. I passed a house last night with way too much webbing on their front bushes that it just looked enthusiastic for Halloween, but not scary. Getting a "realistic" haunted or creepy look is totally a different hand than slathering your house in fake webs and fake spiders. I like the person-shaped thing about to get its blood sucked.

How could this give anyone nightmares? Der anyway I feel if we all grew up in this country then we all can appreciate Holloween to the fullest. My Mom loves Holloween so as a kid she made a huge deal out of it and made me till this day look forward to the holiday. She even hand made mine and my sisters customes. She's awesome!

Oh good, you can send me and my fellow arachnophobes catatonic o.o

I do like Halloween decorations (although sadly lacking here in Australia), but augh, leave the spiders out of it!
