Oh, I love the look of this. Very cool.

Unnecessarily complicated and overly designed - It doesn't appear to solve any single problem associated with bicycle riding.

I watched the video and it's definitely an attention-grabbing design. It looks 'wrong' to see someone riding this thing around but it seems to function as well as a normal cruiser.

Hmm...I keep looking for the "That doesn't look like it works very well, also that it was doodled by a ferret" I really don't think it's hot, and I really don't think it looks good at all.

"Doodled by a ferret"

Must work this into a conversation tomorrow.

Interesting but uuuhh Willie Wonka called and he would like the Sense-cycle returned (as would his pet ferret, Edmund, who doodled the design for him).
Interesting but without an oompa loompa what would it go with?????????

This is a lovely bike! I would totally ride it, but it would be a pain to get to and from the shop; there's no way you could get it on a standard bike rack.

I agree that it doesn't seem to "improve" the functionality of a normal bike, but it's not all that over engineered. Have you ever seen or ridden one of those foldable bikes? THOSE are overly engineered. Snazzy, but overly engineered. This at least looks comfy.

The engineer in me feels like it won't work for very long.
Looks interesting and different but unusable.

It reminds me of Dr. Seuss.

I'd throw Beth Ditto on it and give her a bat and perhaps a Chihuly pinata.

How does it steer?

" Have you ever seen or ridden one of those foldable bikes?"

Yes, I own a Strida...
...and while it is highly engineered, it solves a particular problem quite well (Well, it could use a low gear for getting uphill - but then it's easy to fold and dump into the back of a taxi)

As an art bike it is striking. It involves a level of engineering and polish I don't see in most art bikes.

As a regular bike I just can't see it being very good, even as a cruiser.

Does it work? I want to ride it down the street just to see the looks. It kind of reminds me of a magic trick- like that section has 'vanished'

DDBAF. Which, as everyone knows, means Definitely Doodled By a Ferret.

And how DOES it steer? Went to the website, but could not find the video.

Looks cool, but not functional. I'm thinking you'd only be able to ride in a straight line!

The bike may ride pretty well, and I don`t see why would it have any problems steering - I saw a motorcycle with front wheel mount constructed using similiar philosophy, and it seemed driving completely normal. Of course, what we see here is looks over simplicity, but what the heck - we deserve nice land unusual things around!
And speaking about designer bikes, look:

That`s some strange bike!

The steering is a draglink setup the thinner tube going forward mounts to a ball joint on an arm that pivots the front stem/wheel, much the way your steering wheel controls your cars steering. the lines area bit deciving as the tubes both move out horizontal and not vertical. And actully pretty cool but it truly shows the effect of color, the comments would be considerabledifferent if it was black with flames hahaha:)

Thanks, slowdown and theskip. It makes more sense now (in a way).
