"Ground control to Major Tom...."

Sorry, that's the first thought that went through my head. These look ridiculous. Like what people making movies in the 60s thought our furniture would look like now.

Huh, who knew that they barbecued on the planet Hoth before the Galactic Empire invaded. Don't invite the Ton-Tons, though, those creatures eat more than they bring.

Oh yeah, this furniture is just plain hideous.

As far as having a way to neatly put away summer furniture I really liked these. But I've tried all of the pieces, including some not shown and they are not comfortable at all. They don't really fit the body that well.

That may have been awesome to have to play hide and seek in...

They're sort of haute Barbarella. Not at all my taste, but I could see them being great in some of the "space age" style homes of the 60s, or Pierre Cardin's place in the south of France.

It looks like its from the set of a bad 70s sci-fi movie!

I hear ya, Queenbee "Like what people making movies in the 60s thought our furniture would look like now."

It reminds of that old Conan O'Brien "In the Year 2000...." skit.

I'll bet Parisians go ga-ga for this. That city seems to love ugly modern things next to their beautiful old buildings.

I love it. But then, I'm a big fan of sci fi XD

ErikTheRed - you mean Tauntauns, don't you? Fancy not getting your Hothian biology right! ;)

Would be much better positioned if named "Take Me To Your Leader" Series 3000.

Lisa from Montreal : yes, we do ! Paris is still alive.

As for the furniture, I'd really like to see it put in a better context. I'm not a penguin (I think) !
