Great Escape: Prague's Design & Style Hotel Neruda

While attempting to track down a rickety old hostel that I stayed in during a visit to Prague a number of years ago, I instead managed to stumble across the gorgeous interiors of Hotel Neruda. The price tag may be a far cry form the ten dollar nights I experienced while staying in the magical city, but the Hotel Neruda's serene environment, which is at once both romantic and modern, seems well worth it's four star status...

The hotel was created after a careful renovation of a building dating back to 1348 AD. While being to the sensitive to its historical setting, the hotel is distinctly modern in its furnishings and amenities. The pairing of glass walls and rustic beams are a perfect example of its new meets old atmosphere.

The hotel is situated in old Prague, a couple blocks from the Prague Castle and a ten minute walk to the Charles bridge — perfect for those hoping to explore the city's historical sights.

Rooms start at $107 US dollars, with breakfast included.

For more information, visit the hotel's website.

Wow!
Love those spaces - esp the hanging light fixtures in the first photo...

I love that tunnel-esque living/lounging space.
