We are envious of Paola's organized workspace because it seems both functional and fun. The pops of pink really liven up the white furniture and tiles, and we love the gingham print on the inpiration board posted above the sewing area. Paola sells the lovely crafts featured on her photostream over at her Etsy shop, works she creates right here on this sewing table.
Thanks Paola for sharing your inspiration corner with us! If you have inspirational photos of your home to share, please post them to the ATDC Flickr group- maybe you'll find yourself featured here as well!
i'm in love! i've been trying to figure out a way to set up a new (functional) sewing nook in the corner of my bedroom, and after seeing that picture it's all the inspiration i need!

the shelf floating over the work table is a great idea. this might be the solution to my desk quandary.

So organized! Can anyone identify that sewing machine? I need a smaller one and that looks perfect...

Pink gingham! That's exactly what I need for this cold, snowy day.

Ohhh, cute! And a floating shelf over the desk is GENIUS!
I need to hurry up and get myself a small dining table/sewing table hybrid (hooray for tiny apartments!), but I never thought about putting a shelf just above the table. If I got a sturdy enough one (probably not a floating shelf) I could even store my sewing machine on it!

misscorinne -- Not sure what that model is, but have you looked for 3/4 size sewing machines? The place where I took sewing classes used a Hello Kitty Janome for classes. It had all the features of the full-size machines, but it fit into a smaller workspace. A number of sewing machine makers produce that size, so it would just be a matter of going to a store and trying them out to see if they'd work for you.

Thanks so much for the sewing machine tips/suggestions! I had no idea there were official 3/4 size ones...
