Look!: Christmas Tree Made from 300 Water Bottles

Much as we adore kitsch around the holidays, this year for our own home we're thinking about decor made from found or recycled materials. This gorgeous Christmas tree, displayed in Montreal, is made from 300 water bottles. Four people put it together over two days. More photos and info below the jump...

This water bottle tree, called an "ice tree," was commissioned by the Montreal-based furniture retailer Domison and designed by the design studio Paprika. The tree is made from Canadian mineral glass water bottles. You can see it in Domison's retail space until January.

It's not exactly "found objects" if they're identical glass water bottles, still sealed with water in them. Good luck getting your tree to look like it, though.

I passed the store yesterday and thought, 'how long will it take for AT to blog about it?' Not long, evidently.
