We wandered into the Chevy Chase Shopping Arcade a few weeks ago to take pictures for our post on Terasol, and were struck by the interior of the space. Opened in 1925, the Chevy Chase Arcade was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2003. The ornate plasterwork and decorative painting received a facelift a few years ago- we remember a much dingier place from our childhood. In addition to Terasol, the arcade also houses a fabulous art gallery and framing shop that handles all of our framing needs.
