Not using U-Haul. We grabbed this pic off of the ABC website a few hours ago. Today is THE day for both families to move, and this could be the Obama's trucks. It's a tight schedule! It all takes place in six hours apparently. But one story below says that the Bushes have already moved out days ago. Links and video below the jump...

Well, it truly does sound like this is the work of Laura. I never was a fan of W, but Laura is a southern lady, and no matter what else they may think or say, when they're in these kinds of positions, they're determined to be and/or at least appear gracious and poised. She might not have been able to relax and be that if she had the distraction of worrying about whether her stuff was being rushed out.
This kind of move reminds me of how it was being a Methodist preacher's kid growing up. One set day of the year, all the preachers in the conference who are going to move, move on the same day. Kind of a musical chairs of sorts.

They said that at noon, when Obabm was being sworn in, the Big Switch would take place -- so I presume somebody already had all the logistics worked out. The idea was that when the Obamas headed home, it would be THEIR place now. Some of the Bush's stuff already had been moved out, but the things they used the last couple of days in the White House needed to move on, whether back to storage (if property of the government) or on to their new digs in Texas, if their own. The government can be incredibly efficient in SOME things!
