DC native Tashica Morgan is on Season 4 of HGTV's Design Star (which starts this Sunday) and the DC media can't get enough of her. She grew up in Southeast DC living in relatives’ houses, homeless shelters, and foster homes. Tashica Morgan currently works at Ethan Allen and is in the Master's in Interior Design program at Marymount University in Arlington, Virgina. Moving around so much as a child caused Tashica Morgan to develop design skills - she was the one who decided where the family's bags and belongings would go in each new space. We'll see if this season is worth watching. Hopefully more design, less gimmicks and less drama. I'm actually looking forward to Candice Olson as a judge.
