The Washington Post forecasts a whole slew of trends for fall including bright yellow paint, like Benjamin Moore's St. Elmo's Fire shown above. The Post also predicts that nailhead trimmed furniture (shown below the jump) and brightly painted glass kitchen backsplashes will be popular products. Gray wood finishes are expected to gain popularity, as are purple-colored furniture (like the Crate and Barrel chair shown below) and patterned accessories (like the Missoni print pillows also shown below).
