Today is Last Washington Post HOME Section

We've been hearing rumors for weeks, but WPost on Twitter confirmed: The Washington Post's HOME section's last is today. Next week it will become the Local Living section. Our favorite writers and editors will remain, but the focus of the Thursday section will now broaden to include family and health issues.

Today's section covers nursery decor, how to turn secondhand items into treasures, the vegetable garden at Dumbarton Oaks, radiator covers and more.

This is a sad day for us, but we wish The Post and its new venture well. For latest news, find the HOME Section on Twitter and Facebook.

Good riddance. The Home section has always been way stodgy.
