Real Simple Organizational Tools: Revisited

REAL SIMPLE.jpg

Real Simple has been selling their line of sleek and functional stationery & organizational supplies at Target for several years now. Though we posted about them when they first came out, we were a bit dismayed to see the slightly sad display of products at our local Target the other day...

While the setup may not showcase these items with the respect they deserve, it couldn’t completely hide how great some of the pieces are. Soothing and fun color combinations and clean lines, they’re still a fabulous way to brighten up any office space or outfit the style-conscious teen for back to school.

It almost inspires us to organize, well almost. This magnetic envelope pouch caught our eye – perfect on a file cabinet for receipts, bills or business cards. It found a happy home on our fridge (where it almost exactly matched our wall color). With some coupons, receipts and miscellaneous photos tucked inside it is already helping us stay neat and tidy!

Great use of two tone colors.

I have the middle mail sorter in the top row. It's too small for all our mail, so we use it at the computer and it holds a TON of stuff - post-its, flags, clips, pens (and nail files!), papers I need to keep nearby, CDs, birthday cards, etc. One of the best purchases I've made at Target.

I have the mail sorter, too. I use it as a desktop caddy. Like That70sHeidi, mine holds pens, post-its, and paperwork. The best part is that my stapler fits perfectly into the back left-hand squares. You can use the pre-printed labels to designate each of the vertical slots (mine are bills to pay, reminders, coupons, and papers to file) or you can use some of the blank labels to write your own. It's durable, doesn't stain easily and holds a ton. Great product!
