This molded polyethylene lamp by designers Ramon Ubeda and Otto Canalda for Metalarte is a strong, bold design and I can't believe it's both an indoor and outdoor lamp! It'll certainly brighten up any outdoor space, and if you're thinking it's a little large, don't worry, it comes in a smaller size!
I can't decide which size I like better, both are great for different settings. The InOut Floor Lamp would surely make a statement when you have guests over, while the InOut Table Lamp is a little more understated.
The lamps are made from molded polyethylene, and made to look like traditional lamps (complete with faux pleating on the "shade"). Each lamp is all one piece and comes complete with a black 3 conductor electrical cord with plug. Both are available from online retailer Ylighting: InOut Floor Lamp is $1,332 and the InOut Table Lamp is $684.

i like the idea, its too expensive, probably a little too big, and should have some kind of solar power instead of a cord.
