Bent Plywood Cat Scratcher by ModernCritter

Modern Critten.jpg

Modern Critter logo.jpg Is your cat as style conscious as you are? Perhaps they feel bored and depressed by ordinary, less-inspired cat scratchers. Previously posted on AT:Chicago earlier this year, ModernCritter has answered the calls for modern cat scratchers...

We posted about these before back in January but in honor of Pet Month wanted to give them a second look.

The Modern critter bent plywood cat scratcher is a simple, sleek design that can be personalized with Flor Tiles to match any color scheme. It can be hung high or low on a wall where it can also serve as a perch for napping. Soon they will be adding a white lacquer version.

The price may be a little steep but the ability to replace/change the flor tiles is our favorite part. We love versatility.

$285, in case you're wondering.

Good...gracious..me oh my. I scared my own cats when I screeched "$285?!?!?" That's ridiculous! This is such an easy DIY and carpet tiles don't really seem to be enticing for the kitties...the texture is wrong. At least I know mine won't like it. I think I'm gonna swing this one myself for less than $50, I'm sure.
