Moore Honey House by Marlon Blackwell
North Carolina

7-7-moore-honey-house.jpg

The Moore Honey House is a 480 square feet addition to a home in Cashiers, North Carolina. The home and the honey house were designed by Arkansas architect Marlon Blackwell. The additions purpose? To serve as a simple shed for the making and storing of honey!

Built and assembled in three weeks, the Honey House measures 8' x 24' and is built from tongue-and-groove pine boards and tubular steel. The design also features a carport for the owners to easily drive up to transport honey.

It was hard to find any good pictures of the Honey House....do you know of any? We'll be looking to follow up with more soon!

The Moore Honey House is also featured in the book Tiny House by Alejandro Bahamon.

Does anyone know how much it cost to build the Honey House? I love the design.
