I love round dining tables - I think they make for great conversation at a dinner party since everyone can see and have a conversation with one another from wherever they are sitting.

My favorite - the saarinen.

i love the idea of the round table with its egalitarian concept of not having a formal head or foot (like king arthur's round table). my favorite is the saarinen as well, which takes the circular concept even further in that you can rotate the table top like a lazy susan.

I wish I could find a round pedestal dining table that wasn't so ultra modern looking. The saarinen is a great table, but I feel like it's everywhere now (with knockoffs and all).
