The Galleries of Dupont Circle is a consortium of art galleries with coordinated opening receptions the First Friday of each month from 6 to 8 PM. Several galleries will be hosting events this evening, including the Foundry Gallery where you will find a silent auction featuring the mixed media piece shown above...

We have never been to First Friday in Dupont Circle; do any AT readers have any recommendations or advice to offer about this type of event? Is anyone else hoping to attend tonight?
