Scrap Lights from graypants

We have cardboard on the brain these days; three sets of friends are in the process of moving, and all are bemoaning the need to acquire and then dispose of large quantities of cardboard moving boxes. Though we recommended listing those boxes for free on Craigslist to help other folks trying to move, we are also keeping an eye out for more innovative uses...

These scrap lights from graypants are a wonderful example of turning trash to treasure. Handmade entirely from repurposed cardboard boxes, these lamps are available in three shapes- disc (14-17" diameter), irregular (9-12" diameter), and bell (18" H x 15-16" diameter). The lamp cords are available in two colors (black and white) and two styles (4' cord ready to be hardwired or 15' cord with plug and integrated switch). The scrap lights range in price from $219 to $479, and require 4-6 weeks of lead time on ordering.

Love the lights, and love the guys at Graypants! I've had the pleasure of seeing the scrap lights in person, and they really are gorgeous and elegant- much more so than the materials would imply.
