We have been on the lookout for an attractive storage bench for our bedroom, and were delighted to see this new option at Ikea. We like that is has split storage space because otherwise we have a tendency to forget about things buried at the bottom, but wish the bench was offered in additional colors...
I like that, I would paint it, get cuter knobs and possibly put casters on the bottom so I could wheel it over to the living room for a coffee table.

I like it. I'd give it a light sanding and paint it as well. Or even sand the hell out of it and re-stain it. May have to give this a look next time I'm at ikea.
