The chairs now come in three styles: stackable ($695), barstool ($910), and easy chair ($855). All three chairs can be ordered through DC retailer Apartment Zero.
Apartment Zero has fantastic products, but they have the Worst. Customer service. Ever. They cater to businesses and large dollar customers. If you want a small piece or think you may want to order something, but need a sample or swatch, they are extremely uncooperative. If you're in DC, and you're looking for high quality modern design, but with incredible customer service, go to Vastu in the U St area.

I've had the same experince with Apartment Zero. The products are indeed nice, but the staff leaves much to be desired.

I had a horrible experience with a purchase from Apartment Zero. The piece of furniture was defective and it took increasingly nasty letters and calls over several months for the store to even try to rectify the situation. Would advise against anyone buying from that store.

wow! i had the exact opposite experience with them..my visits have always been so positive. my husband and i recently purchased a sofa, chair and lamp from them and had no problems whatsoever getting free samples, price quotes and tear sheets to take with us...they followed up with us the same day and remembered our names when we came in a week later to purchase..
I must say that I am surprised to hear about their customer service, after visiting almost every design store in DC...Apartment Zero was the only one who greeted us with a smile and always said hello..so many other design stores are so snooty, they barely even look at you when you enter.
I didn't know much aobut them so i visited their website to find out they sponsor up-and-coming designers with exhibits of their work, all free and open to the public...so we went to one of their events at the Finnish Embassy. what a blast! we got to meet the ambassdaor and his wife and see a stunning exhibit at the same time.
I would most definitely recommend apartment zero, as the best customer service around...they win my vote.
and about Muleh...tiny shop! i thought they were a design store? they only carry one line: Knoll..was thinking they had more selection
