7-28 skynear logo.gifSkynear has been in business for over 20 years, in various DC locations, and is constantly reinventing itself. The Adams Morgan store has an eclectic mix of modern, retro and vintage furniture and home accessories. Prices range along with the varying styles - Skynear aims to have something for every budget. Skynear also features the artwork of local artists....

We recommend a visit to Grandma's attic on the top floor, which has great bargains.

Skynear is also the DC representative for the popular Italian Calligaris line, Martha Stewart lighting and Dutch company Innovation.

Skynear plans to open a second store in Bethesda, MD this spring. We can't wait to see the new location!

The most amazing thing about this place is how they've used this old building. It's lovely to walk around in.

Personally, I am not a fan of this store.

I agree with Pixie that the amazing thing about this store is the way that the space is used. I also agree with thomasDupontstudio. I am not a fan of this store. The merchandise is hit or miss and the "help" is inept, unfriendly and ill-informed.

I dunno if marcmadrid went to the same store that I did, but when I was at Skynear I saw some very unusual pieces. The staff I spoke with was a designer and artist and offered free design help. The building is really charming too and ppl were very welcoming...it's perfect for Adams Morgan.
