We spent Labor Day weekend in Dallas, and thanks to some recommendations from our readers, we hit a couple of different design locations in the big D. Our favorite find was certainly Lula B's Antique Mall- owners Patrick and Mary Ann were gracious hosts, and were delighted to hear our readers had recommended their shop as a must-see...

We visited the Lower Greenville store, but heard Lula B's will be opening another location in October at 1010 N. Industrial Blvd that will provide a ton more exhibition space.

Lula B's is a treasure trove of everything- lighting, seating, clothes, art...

We were especially fond of the quirky elements peppered throughout the store, like these zebras- we have no idea how to use them in the home, but we do love them...

Lula B's is certainly a place to wile away a couple of hours just browsing- you will certainly find plenty of decor eye-candy. We were unfortunately constrained by the need to fly home to DC, but even so were tempted by several pieces.

We definitely recommend dropping in to check out Lula B's if you are in the Dallas area. Thanks to C.R. and attygreen13 for the recommendation!
I'm so glad you mentioned it here!! It's possibly one of the coolest places for retro furniture and oddities. When I was in high school we used to go there for the clothes. Now I ogle at the dishes and coffee tables! And I'm really glad to hear they're opening a second location!

Ah, I was just there this afternoon. I love that place, and it is relatively affordable compared to other vintage stores in Dallas!
I didn't know about the second location... I'm excited!

omg, this is my favorite place in dallas. my fiancee and i spend many saturdays there, just browsing around. there are clothes upstairs and it's so much fun to play dress up! we found the best set of arm chairs there a few years ago. as with many consignment stores, it's best to visit often to check out new stuff and catch sales. they're so friendly, too! by far the best vintage/thrift store in town.
