I love those Eames elephants! I would have one, even if I don't have children :)

What a coincidence that you posted this, since there's an open-air exhibition in Amsterdam (my hometown) now to raise awareness about the dire situation of the Asian elephant. The exhibition is called The Elephant Parade. The next Elephant Parade (2010) will be held in London.

I LOVE ELEPHANTS! I have a little gold and ruby elephant on my nightstand and in the lounge next to the tv cabinet a large ceramic elephant plant stand that I spray painted glossy black. SO CUTE!

We have an elephant side table that was a favorite piece of my mother-in-law. Everyone who visits our place comments on Huebert, his name. He's made of solid wood, weighs about 50 lbs., and we wouldn't trade him for the world! Great post!
