Flickr Finds: DC Design Babes Change Everyday Objects into Art

DC Design Babes hosted an event last week where designers competed to make art out of everyday objects. The event was called "Change the Way You See Things" and inspired by the Dutch Design Week and, this being DC, President Obama! Shown is the winning sculpture in progress. See the completed piece below, plus more great designs made at the event...

We like the Giant Fortune Cookie made out of pennies, which received an Honorary Mention. Below is the winning sculpture: Giant Spork (a spoon made out of many forks).
