After spending the weekend painting Mom's living room and entry, we were in the mood for some big impact alternatives that don't involve hours of rolling- enter these stunning wall and ceiling graphics from San Francisco design firm OrangePiel. These unique textiles are designed to look and feel like an artist's canvas stretched across your wall or ceiling...
Customers can choose from three design options: working with company designers to create a unique piece, choosing an art piece from a contributing artist, or submitting an image for a truly personal piece. For those with noisy neighbors, installation using the perimeter tracking system also allows for the addition of up to 2" acoustic backing to help with sound absorption. OrangePiel uses PVC-free materials for printing and their UV-curable inks are also environmentally friendly.
OrangePiel also offers custom-printed window shades that are available through their online store. We weren't able to find any price information for the wall or ceiling graphics, and would love to hear from anyone who has see these products in person.
I really love this idea. The last image is absolutely beautiful. The fork graphics are a little mind-melding and disconcerting, though.

I was hoping that the double doors between the forks was another option.
Maybe it could be. Double doors closed, partially open, and completely open. With a companion group of "beyond the doors" inserts.

Wow. The forks took me a second. They really look like they are popping out -- hurts my head a bit! And the lady in the last one... don't need her reading over my shoulder! :) Very interesting and bold though!

The first one is forking disturbing. The ceiling graphic, however, works nicely.
