Another reader recommendation from Savannah brought us to DC2 Design, the lush design showroom and retail store for LA based designers Dmitri Chami and Dean Caldarelli. There we were lucky enough to meet SCAD Interior Design student Allie Hansel, a devoted AT reader who arranged for us to take the pictures for this post...

DC2 Design is filled with fabulous seating; we would love to have either of the chairs above tucked into a reading nook. Though much of the furniture in the store is upholstered in neutrals, the design studio in the back allows customers to order any piece in custom fabrics.

The high ceilings, dark paint, and mirrored columns make the store feel enormous, and provide an excellent backdrop for the elaborate lighting and crystal chandeliers that shed light on the individual vignettes.
