Boston-based ceramic artist Isabelle Abramson hand-carved these beautifully delicate pendant lamps from porcelain clay. I find them inspirational: they were a labor of love and exhibit Abramson's patience and mastery. Porcelain, in comparison to stoneware, requires delicate handling and presents a different set of challenges, making these artfully crafted pendants worth their price.
Considering intricacy, beauty, and material, Abramson's work is reasonably priced: decorative bowls range from $85 to $750 (depending on size and complexity), while her vases are priced from $125 to $325.
