I think these five interiors hit the note just right. Whether introducing the color through a few accessories or painting a wall, they keep the rest of the space fairly neutral, with clean lines and plenty of white space. The result is sophisticated, fresh and fun.
1. Ideas to Steal A vibrant sofa, coffee table and accessories play with a range of shades and bring a little extra glamor to the high ceilings, chandelier and ornate details in this space.
2. House Beautiful A foyer wall painted in the most vibrant of shades makes a statement the moment you step in the door.
3. Elle Décor The chaise is a dramatic touch in an otherwise neutral space, the pink books on the shelf help pull the look together.
4. Elle Décor A utilitarian office chair becomes a piece with personality when upholstered in a vibrant color.
5. Made by Girl Touches like flowers and a brightly hued book are an easy, non-committal way to play with the color.

My wife an I have a den where with black walls and most of the furniture is black silver or white. We have used pink as an accent color. It looks amazing and I usually hate pink.
I really like the first pic - particularly how the pink fridge back in the kitchen ties it all together. I'd probably edit out some of the small pink accessories but that's just a much because I don't like unnecessary clutter.
Pink is my favorite color and I'm trying to find ways to incorporate it into my house filled with boys. Thank you for this post!
I love the first one! I'm not a pink person, but it really can be gorgeous in design when used in unexpected ways.
that pink fridge in the first pic = LOVE. pops of pink is all my fiance will allow, lol.
I love hot pink, but the Mr (obviously) does not.
I bought a hot pink cashmere wrap this weekend to help quench that desire.
Love #4. It's understated and classy. The first picture is really cool to look at, but I don't think I would live there.
I guess it's good to be a bachelorette! I painted my kitchen backsplash a hot pink with no regrets. Love #1-5.
I love hot pink, so much I actually painted the exterior of my house hot pink (about the same color as pic #2). Probably too much for most but it makes it easy to give directions.
I love them all EXCEPT number four. It needed one more pink thing, the chair looked a little lonely. But gorgeous! I wonder if I can convince my husband to paint the entrance hot pink next spring...
I lived in Mexico for a year and saw many rooms painted hot pink. It looks great with silver and talavera pottery accents, big yellow sunflowers, and lots of art glass.
