Decorating with Antique and Vintage Glassware

Antique and vintage glassware can bring a little extra charm to any corner of your home. From apothecary jars to seltzer bottles to swanky decanters, these accessories can add age, texture, and good-looking functionality.

Putting flowers in antique bottles is not a new idea, but it doesn’t get old, either. For a twist, those bottles can hold photographs (Image 3) or serve as terrariums (Image 10). In the kitchen, consider using old bottles for dish soap or oil (Image 3) and genuinely old or newer mason jars as practical storage for grains (Image 9). By the same token, one or two pieces of glassware will add variety to open shelving (Image 1) and instant class to a bar area (Image 5).
