We just heart this idea of framing heart-shaped maps. Each of us in our family have a long list of cities, sites, and countries that we want to visit one day. What a cool way to keep the dreams alive and turning them into wall art at the same time.

Does anyone know an easy way to get a map to make map art without visiting the location? I want to make one using a specific part of Italy but when I try to pull it up online from google maps to print it does not turn out well. Prefer a FREE way to get the map! :0
Holly the Craft Pirate, have you tried the town's tourist information? Before we went to South Africa we emailed the tourist info there and they mailed us all sorts of books, pamphlets, maps etc before we left. Not sure if Italy would do the same but it's worth a try.
