With colder days just around the corner, we have been looking at warm blankets and winter decor. Through our search we came across a story from the Domino archives about Tartan. The patterns can be very classy and as decorating elements somewhat courageous and unexpected.

Wearing plaid is one way to embrace the trend, but to actually decorate with tartan can be much more challenging. In the picture above we love the tartan plates on the white wall and how they connect with the pillows directly below. An entire wall covered in plaid is much more than we would go for in our home, but the effect is striking.
