With the help of her husband, they've added a unique touch to their outdoor space...

We've definitely seen and loved alternative plant holders before on Apartment Therapy. Using restaurant-style fry baskets, Jennifer Perkins and her husband Chris created one-of-a-kind hanging flower baskets for their backyard. While they admit acquiring the fry baskets are a bit of a challenge, everything else is quite simple. Utilizing items like coconut husk for the lining, potting soil and their favorite plants, they were able to create a couple of quirky accents to hang along their fence.
