Christmas is getting closer and closer, and everyone is scrambling to make some last minute purchases, but before you purchase the latest gadget from Dell, make sure that it's the right price!
The Dell online shop is the place to get the Adamo XPS, but you'd better be sure that it's the right price, because there have been reports of incredible pricing mistakes. Now, this isn't just your usual one or two errata, but quite a few big problems.
Why is this happening? Dell is laying off 700 of its 4,500 employees by June 2010. It might be tied to this, though we can't be sure. One thing is certain, laser mice shouldn't cost $4,000 and a Xeon desktop computer shouldn't cost $16.99. DailyTech started noticing that something was off when they saw 3.2GHz monster PCs selling for $10.99. The $21,000 hard drive was even more ludicrous.
We double checked and the Adamo XPS is still available on the Dell online store for $2,000. Is it worth it? If you like what it looks like, then it might be. Also, today is free shipping day, and Dell is participating.
