The talented team at Chicago Home mag, led by editor Jan Parr, have a new coffee table book coming out soon. It's one that, according to Parr, "puts to rest once and for all the notion that Chicago's design sensibility is predictably conservative and safe".
Following a foreward by local design fave Nate Berkus, the book has a unique structure - the first section shows entire homes, the second focuses on solutions for specific rooms. A directory of the editor's picks for best Chicagoland resources is also included.
In stores starting next month (10/11/11), it is currently available as a pre-order from Chicago Home: Chicago Spaces: Inspiring Interiors for $45
Congrats, Chicago Home - can't wait to check out the book!

Ercol Bar Stool
Love the little side table in the first picture. Anyone know the source?
The bed frame. Where do I find it?
That is the Charles platform bed from B&B Italia. From page 63 of the January/February 2011 issue of Chicago Home & Garden. I absolutely love the home they featured - beautiful and clean design. The bocci globe light fixtures in their living room are so awesome.
