Any sources for the rug on the top left? It's so much nicer than other zebra prints I've seen, and I don't really want an animal-shaped one (it would freak out my kids).
ahhh, this post makes me happy :)

are some of the second row zebra carpet tiles from Flor?
That first room with that black bold wall and cabinet is the definite wow for me..
That first room is jaw dropping.
Lisa, that one looks to be pieced dyed cowhide with a leather border (from the sheen). A bit like this:

There is wall-to-wall zebra print that is available, even at Home Depot. It's with the printed designs, like florals might be found in hospitality/commercial scenarios.

Er, that's not a good example of fashionably used. Unless it's supposed to look retro-lounge-lizardish.
Stores will bind it for you, like this place:

The red carpet isn't always red, sometimes it's zebra:

At least the carpet looks great in the images...
Love it. love all of it.
Love the zebra pattern rug in my den. It provides the perfect foil to the deep brown paint and polished nickle fixtures. Forever timeless.
The zebra is nice, but I've been yearning to paint a room navy like in that first shot. I'm too chicken.

Thank you, #9! That's great info!
Hi Lisa,
My husband and I are the architects on the project pictured and had the rug custom made for our client to fit his space. It's made of farmed zebra pelts w/ leather binding; we'd love to design one for you!
The blue walls are actually multiple blues painted in a strie
pattern....the millwork is solid navy.
