Sydney homeowner Jacqui Esdaile renovates and designs other people's homes for a living, so when she and her husband had the opportunity to create their own beachy modern dreamhouse, she knew exactly what she wanted.
Jacqui's idea of a perfect home incorporates her love of mixing prints without being too matchy, using some pieces of outdoor furniture indoors to create a consistent flow into the garden living space, and starting with a strong base of hearty finishes that will stand the test of time. We're impressed by how the neutral gray, white, black, and gold color scheme creates drama and tension through a layered mix of pattern and texture.

That outdoor space is gorgeous!
Love the tripod lamp, with rippled shade. Does anyone know who makes it?
i second the tripod lamp source request!
Wow, that outdoor area is beautiful!
Lamp found! AT has posted link to Lightology as part of this weekend sales - and they have the tripod lamp, but it costs $700.

absolutely GORGEOUS home and love the outdoor space! So inviting and relaxing!
$700. OMG, that'll have to wait for my trust fund... OTOH, that lampshade is a DIY waiting it happen. It reminds me of an upside down version of the stiffened doilies my Gram used to make. Just fabric stiffener, a nice fabric, a bucket, et voila!
