Will someone please make the moustache trend STOP?!
HAHAHA! Agreed @thehb! Its been going on for far too long...
Oh. Wow. That Cathrine Holm print just hepped me to the fact that she's the designer of the MINT CONDITION COMPLETE FONDUE SET I bought in Michigan this summer...for $15. Bought the print to hang behind my pot. Thanks, AT!
Love the Holm print but assume it's an infringement like 95% of the stuff on Etsy. Makes me sad/mad.
I Love Upstate: Cathirneholm Company was closed back in 70s...
@Pythia: Catrhineholm was a company, not a person
@I Love Upstate: the company doesn't exist anymore (hasn't for a long time), so I don't see the harm/infringement
I second thehb's moustache comment.
The Small Stakes book IS on my wishlist though. I love those posters.
So it was! Very interesting.
I would have thought the Cathrineholm artist would have more to worry about because of the obvious similarities to the Maria Holmer Dahlgren design!

The Catherine Holm artist is, I think, a liberal user of others inspirations and I have seen comments about this on numerous other blogs. He has an interpretation for most designs it seems.
I completely agree digger1! Why AT is providing a platform for an 'artist' with such little regard for other peoples original designs is disturbing and shameful! The vast majority of his portfolio has been lifted, and in some cases blatantly copied from other original works, yet he is promoted everywhere with no recourse!
Digger1 : You should know that author of the CH print was the first one ever who created pritns inspired by cathrineholm on the web, as Im a big collector of those items Im searching quite often for things like this, once he was well known others immediately stardet to copy his ideas. Those gossips are very missleading as you probably dont know anything about other etsy shops etc, there are tons of similar artworks and you never can tell who was the original artist. Shop from where is CH print have many totally original prints - and this is probably the fact why it is succesful and those gossips are just other envy sellers laments (Bellabump07 for sure)
