We always get a little thrill when we follow a designer's work, and then finally get an opportunity to hear them speak. This morning, we heard Patricia Urquiola's lovely accent for the first time online at Dezeen. As part of their series of podcasts for London's Design Museum, Dezeen interviewed the Spanish-born designer about her collection of porcelain objects....
The Design Museum exhibition, Purely Porcelain, features Urquiola's "Landscape" series, a collection she created for tabletop manufacturer Rosenthal.
The series is available through UnicaHome. White-on-white patterns stamped into the material play with the translucent and textural qualities of porcelain. A 5-piece place setting is $188, currently on sale for 20% off ($150).
