One of my very favorite sources for color inspiration is Design Seeds. The founder of Design Seeds, Jessica Colaluca, puts together color palettes drawn from an inspirational image. The inspiration could be anything from gum drop candy to ocean waves. Within the last few days Jessica relaunched her website and not only does it have a brand new look, but it also lists the HEX code numbers for each color used in the palettes, which can be converted to Pantone numbers.
To view the HEX codes for each color, roll your mouse over the color palette thumbnails to the left of each image. If you like a particular color in the palette you can click the color thumbnail to see the color used in other inspiration boards. The new website design also lets you search for color boards by theme.
Design Seeds is such a great resource for developing the color palette for your home or choosing the right paint color. I can't wait to start exploring Jessica's newly redesigned website!

GENIUS. I've used her website before for room inspiration, but missed being able to track an exact color. This is great!
thank you so much for the feature on the relaunch of Design Seeds! we actually offer the HEX codes...but for folks interested in converting them to Pantone, we offer this post on my personal blog on how to convert HEX to Pantone http://ow.ly/80m0y
one of our other big features is that you can now custom mix the color you are looking for with our RGB sliders, and all Design Seeds palettes with those colors in it will be pulled up (on the palette search page)
thank you again for the great feature! very much appreciate your continued support of Design Seeds.

I thought cardinals were red not orange.
happy to open up your world beyond the red cardinal @velsabeachgirl :) they do come in some very interesting shades of orange as well
This site looks to be another addiction. So much for productivity. :)
Amazing! I've been rounding up my own sources of color inspiration but I second @Girl & Lamp, I'm going to be totally addicted.

What a wonderful resource! Great work, Jessica.
What a great site to put into "my favorites". Thanks for the suggestion.
