.design? Web Addresses are About to Get Descriptive

ICANN has released the full list of bids for new gTLDs, the part that comes after the last dot in a web address. Beyond the basic .com and country codes, words and brands like "design," "wine," and "kindle" are looking to make surfing more descriptive. The bidding and approval will take months, but no doubt the web will look a bit different in the future.
