Three Canadian designers, Alanna Cavanagh, Bev Hisey and Virginia Johnson, were asked to create tea towel designs with the theme of "spring." The towels were printed in a limited edition of 1,000 each, and are now retailing for $14.95 in The Bay stores and online. Looks like my favorite, by Alanna Cavanagh (with the daschund) is already out of stock.

Hi Rachael,
Thanks very much for the post.
FYI Arren Williams from The Bay has let me know that there may be more tea towels coming this week.
Thanks again. Alanna
Well, maybe one day I'll run across one of these in the local thrift shop. $14.95 for a tea towel is way over my budget no matter how cute they are. I often find interesting vintage ones for $1.99 though.
I was so dismayed to discover that I could no longer obtain a beautiful Alanna Cavanagh tea towel. Crazy good price and not at all surprised to see how quickly they have sold out. Still....I want one!!
If any of you would like to know more about the fabulous Alanna, hop over to my blog to read my interview with her as part of my "So Canadian, eh?" series.
